Playgrounds Funded by Khelo Foundation
Each of the following schools received two roundabouts, one slide, and a set of pull-up bars, agreed in advance with the school headteachers to ensure equal support and impact:
- Laberk School: 276 students
- Kok Pnov School: 351 students
- Peam School: 384 students
- Ta Kam School: 144 students
All installations were finalized in November, marking the end of the construction phase and the beginning of a new period of play, exploration, and joy for the children.
Impact on the Students
Across these four schools, the playgrounds are now supporting children’s development in powerful ways:
- Strengthening motor skills, coordination, and balance
- Encouraging confidence, resilience, and independence
- Supporting emotional well-being through joyful play
- Creating spaces for socialization, teamwork, and communication
- Offering daily opportunities for safe and active recreation
As one headteacher noted in an earlier report, the children are now “Happier, more active, and more excited to come to school every day.”
